This is number eleven in a series so you can not start with this one, but if you have read 1-10 then this will be where you head next. If you have not read the previous ones just know that this may hold some spoilers for you.
This one is mostly about Rose and Caleb trying to get back to The Shade and the struggles they have to make it back. Unfortunately we have to wait for number twelve before we get any real answers I think.
You still get all the vampires,witches, and werewolves that have you have grown to love. I was a bit worried that there was gonna be a sex scene at one point. This series has grown on me so much because you get so much love in the relationships it almost leaps off of the pages. The females for the most part are very strong and I love that. That isn't saying that the male characters are weak, no just that the females are equally matched. Even though the women are strong they can still find comfort in the arms of the men they love.
The only compliant that I have with these are that they are more like a novelette, which is fine if you are looking for a short read. I will be patiently waiting for the next installment to come out which looks to be on April 19th.
